Getting Here

From: Minneapolis/ St. Paul    We are just 3 hours and 15 minutes north of the twin cities. Head north on 35 to Cloquet then north on 33, to 53 north. Stay on 53 to Virginia where you will pick up 169. Take the highway 169 exit, turn left at the lights towards Hibbing/Chisholm. After approximately 16 miles, you will reach Chisholm. On your right will be the 3rd largest free-standing statue in the Nation, The Ironman Statue. On the left will be IronWorld Discovery Center. Go 1/2 mile further and turn right on Co. Road 5, follow this north 16 miles to Side Lake. Continue past the Riverside Inn, and the Side Lake Store, and turn left on McCarthy Beach Road. Go 4/10th of a mile and turn right into the resort.
